What is an OPG?

An OPG is a panoramic X-ray of both the upper and lower jaws, including the teeth. It rotates around your head to take the scan and takes around 20 seconds. In an OPG, you can see fractures, a dislocated jaw, infection and dentition.

What is a CBCT X-ray?

Cone beam computed tomography is an imaging technique where the rays are diverging, producing a cone shape. It allows for a clear view of the teeth that can accurately display erupted/non-erupted teeth, anomalous structures and tooth roots.
