Our range of services span nearly all dental procedures with the use of state-of-the-art, cutting edge technologies such as CEREC, Laser Systems, Ozonated Water, and PRF Centrifuges, ensuring uncomplicated and safer treatments for our dentists.

 

1. General Practitioner

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated candidate to undertake a full-time position as General Practitioner to be a welcome addition to the closely knit, customer-centric and evidence-based team at ADHPL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dentistry while simultaneously providing the patient with an informed and safe treatment.

  • Taking full set of intra and extra oral photographs with DSLR camera
  • Taking full set of intra and extra oral X-rays using a 3D X-ray machine
  • Have focus in continuous self and patient education based on a positive attitude towards your work
  • Collaborate with other dental personnel for assistance and to refer patients for supplemental dental services
  • Examine patients experiencing oral pain or discomfort to help keep optimal health for patients teeth, gums and mouth
  • Identify causes of oral problems, including cavities and other dental diseases
  • Perform routine dental cleaning and check-ups for patients, including preventative procedures
  • Provide oral surgery when needed for prevention or restoration
  • Repair damaged or decayed gums and teeth using a variety of procedures including fillings and crowns and assist in correcting improper bites from disproportionate jaw or tooth irregularities
  • Research updates and new equipment and procedures in overall dental and oral health field

Work Requirements

  • An induction period of approximately 30-70 hours (depending on position and years of experience) to familiarise yourself with the practice’s policies and procedures must be completed
  • Following the induction period, four to six days of full time operation as a general practitioner

2. Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated candidate to undertake a full-time position as Dental Hygienist to be a welcome addition to the closely knit, customer-centric and evidence-based team at ADHPL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preventing dental disease in patients and provide individual treatment for patients to help maintain healthy oral hygiene.

  • Teach patients oral hygiene techniques based upon each individual case. This instruction can include techniques to care for gums, teeth, and advice on how to maintain a healthy diet.
  • Evaluate and assess periodontal (gum) tissue, including x-ray, discussion, and review of medical history.
  • Scale and polish teeth
  • Apply decay prevention agents

3. Oral Health Therapist

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated candidate to undertake a full-time position as Oral Health Therapist to be a welcome addition to the closely knit, customer-centric and evidence-based team at ADHPL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in providing high quality oral health care for children, adolescents and young adults, including examination, treatment, and preventive measures for maintaining high levels of oral health. They should also be highly involved in the education and promotion of good oral health amongst the patient base.

  • Measure and record signs of periodontal disease and provide non-surgical periodontal treatment

  • Provide fissure sealants and fluoride applications
  • Debride to remove deposits from the teeth
  • Provide conservative treatment (fillings) on deciduous and permanent teeth

4. Dental Assistant

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated candidate to undertake a full-time position as Dental Assistant to be a welcome addition to the closely knit, customer-centric and evidence-based team at ADHPL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in chair-side assisting, sterilisation and disinfection of instruments and equipment, tray preparation of instruments for dental procedures, and the use of assistants’ hand materials such as suction to keep the patient’s mouth dry and clear for treatment. The candidate should also be capable, though it is not mandatory at time of induction, of preparing materials for impressions and restorations, taking and processing X-rays, and assist with administrative duties.

5. Administrative Services

We are seeking a qualified, experienced and dedicated candidate to undertake a full-time position as Oral Health Therapist to be a welcome addition to the closely knit, customer-centric and evidence-based team at ADHPL. The ideal candidate for a receptionist should be proficient in making appointments for patients and maintaining their accounts. They should be capable in helping coordinate the dentist’s schedule, billing patients and their insurance companies, monitoring visitors access to the office and using a computerised filing system to organise patient records and keep them updated. A practice manager should be proficient in ensuring stocks of dental materials and clerical supplies are maintained and dealing with financial issues such as accounts or staff wages. Throughout all tasks, patient confidentiality must be a top priority. General administrative duties should also be a part of the candidate’s abilities.
